In December, we welcomed USAF Thunderbird #8, Maj. Bryce “Triple” Turner to Columbus for his official winter visit.

During this visit, Maj. Turner met with air show organizers and the media to discuss the upcoming 2024 Columbus Air Show in June.

This was an important meeting for Maj. Turner and Air Show organizers because it’s been nearly 20 years since the USAF Thunderbirds have flown in Columbus. It allowed everyone to discuss important details for the Thunderbirds' arrival and demonstration in June, and what their overall time in Columbus will look like.

After meeting with the Air Show Organizers, the media met with Maj. Turner to learn more about the Thunderbirds’ demonstration and what Air Show fans can expect to see in June. Overall, the winter visit was a major success and we cannot wait until the whole team arrives in June!
