Is there handicapped parking?
There will be a limited number of handicapped spots located at the front of our parking lots. The spots are located on a hard surface. Please note that it is first come, first park. So we highly recommend arriving early to secure a spot if you need one.
When you arrive at the air show, please alert parking attendants that you are looking to park in one of the handicapped spots.
Is there a parking lot map?
We are in the process of updating our parking map, and will make it available as soon as it is complete. Please check the parking page for the latest information..
Why is it asking for a license plate number when I try to purchase a parking pass?
Our parking team has technology that allows them to scan your license plate as you enter, and it tells them if you have a parking pass or not. The goal is to streamline the parking and keep everyone moving at a steady pace into the parking lots.
While we strongly encourage you to enter a license plate number if you can, it is not required. The most important thing is that you have a parking pass. You cannot park at the show without it, and we are not selling them at the gate.
We will send emails closer to the show that will allow you to update or enter a new license plate number. If you are still unable to enter a license plate number, please be prepared to present your parking pass to parking attendants at the show and follow their directions.
How do I purchase a parking pass if I'm renting a car and don't yet know the license plate number?
We understand (and appreciate) that people come from out of town, so entering the license plate number is optional. We will send out emails closer to the air show, which will allow you to add a license plate number to your parking pass.
If you still are unable to provide a license plate, that is fine. The most important thing is that you have a parking pass. As you approach the air show, please follow the posted signs and directions from the parking attendants, and make sure you have your parking pass ready to show them.
How can I get free parking?
Free parking is not available at the Columbus Air Show. We must rent the parking space from the airport authority, and the cost of each parking pass helps to cover the fees.
All vehicles parking at the show are required to purchase a parking pass online in advance. Parking passes are limited and must be purchased ahead of time, as they will not be available for purchase at the gate. Each pass covers everyone in the vehicle and ensures a parking space within walking distance of the main entry gate.
You can find more details and purchase parking passes here.
